Welcome to Sidai!

Sidai is an orphanage and day centre for children in Ngong, close to Nairobi, Kenya.Over the years it has expanded and now offers a house outside Ngong centre where areound 40 children live, as well as a day centre in the Mathare slum area of Ngong, which offers a place for the children in the slum to go. Both of these sites provide education for the children during term time.

Funding is almost entirely through charitable donations of food and money from friends of Sidai, volunteers, and various church organisations. Sidai is a Comunity Based Organisation registered under the Ministry of Social Services in Kenya.
